This image is from our first assignment in class. I chose a pineapple because it symbolizes hospitality, which is what I am studying. The word cloud consists of words that describe me and the hobbies I enjoy.
This photograph of a butterfly exemplifies the rule of thirds. If the image were to have a grid overlaid, the butterfly would be positioned in the left column on the bottom row. The rule of thirds enhances the prominence of the butterfly in the picture.
This photograph of a butterfly on a flower exemplifies the rule of thirds. If a grid were applied to the image, the butterfly would be perfectly centered, resulting in an ideal composition.
This picture shows leading lines in a bit of a abstract way. The names of all the different bands on the wall make you read from left to right perfectly lining with the leading lines that the bricks provide in the background making it easily to read the many band names on the wall.
The photograph features an earth and sky palette, comprising blues, greens, and browns. These colors evoke a fresh feeling with the greens and blues, while the browns provide a grounding element to the picture.
This photograph was originally in color, but I decided to alter the color palette to black and white to divert attention away from the background, there by highlighting the black butterfly in the light-colored room.
